United Cyprus Party declared that, they support ten thousand prisoners who are initiated recyclable hunger strike in seventy six prisons in Turkey. United Cyprus Party called progressive forces to have solidarity with indefinite hunger strike of political prisoners.
The Organization’s Secretary Abdullah Korkmazhan of United Cyprus Party said in his written statement that, 10 thousand political prisoners have started indefinitely and recyclable hunger strike in seventy six prisons in Turkey and the number of indefinite hunger-striking prisoners are increasing every day. Korkmazhan stressed that, The AKP government rather than meeting the demands of the hunger-striking prisoners threw them to the single cells and complicates isolation conditions.
